Hi

I have WC-5520 and want to connect outdoor AP (AIR-AP1562i-e-k9), think it needs special configuration because it dos not connect automatically.

How can i do that?

  - What do you mean by it does not connect automatically and or what are you observing then ? Anyway check the wireless compatibility matrix (link below). Make sure the AP is compatible with the WLC. Certain AP-types may need an extra software bundle on the WLC. Check release notes for the intended software and or currently running on the WLC :

Look up the install guide for that specific ap for guidance. Any outdoor ap does have special instructions for getting it joined to the controller. For example, the Ethernet MAC address has to be added. Look over the guide as it will help.
