Hi All,
I have connected a AIR-CAP3602I-N-K9 Ethernet port to the POE port 4 of the WLC. I configured the basic settings in the WLC and it is accessible via Web GUI. The AP page shows no AP detected. The lights on the AP is blinking GREEN. I am not sure what to do next. Kindly help.

You can use the PoE ports but Is not Cisco supported. The AP will have to obtain an ip address on the same vlan as the wlc management interface.
Try to use another power source.

You really need to know what your doing if you are connecting an access point directly to a 2504. This was never supported in the past probably due to the "How do you get this working" factor. It's supported by TAC with the later code versions, but you are better off connecting that AP to a switch.
If you still want to try this, here are some things that are required for this to work:
? LAG disabled
? Port the AP is connected to is also defined on the management Vlan
? DHCP Proxy enabled
? DHCP scope created and enabled for the management Vlan
? WLC time is set correctly or else the AP will not join
You can know why the AP doesn't join if you console into the AP and view the output when the AP boots up. This output will tell you if time is off, no dhcp, etc.

Look at the require I posted. Your time is off and your AP isn't getting an IP.
Your not posting everything. Take a look at the output as it will tell you what's wrong.

Hi Scott .. just erased the config of the WLC...
LAG disabled ..... Yes
? Port the AP is connected to is also defined on the management Vlan ---- I had connected the port # 4 POE with the AP.it is not configured with any VLAN yet. Management interface is in PORT # 1 and is untagged.
? DHCP Proxy enabled - yes
? DHCP scope created and enabled for the management Vlan - 10.1.1.2 - .5 created
? WLC time is set correctly or else the AP will not join - Yes

Can you console to AP and reboot it.
Paste the entire bootup process here.

Post your show run-config
Do you not have a switch to connect the WLC and the AP to?

You are going to really limited if you get this working. Make sure your management VLAN ID on the WLC is set to 0 and if your using port 4 on the WLC, make sure that's not tied to any dynamic interfaces. Your AP needs to get an IP address or else it will never join.
