hello,

 

the ssid is hidden on my AP AIR-CAP702I-E-K9, can any one tell me how to make it visible.

If the AP is being managed from a controller.

 WLANs tick the box broadcast SSID enabled.

 

If you have an autonomous mode AP then:

you need command:

mbssid guest-mode - if you have multiple SSIDs or ssid guest-mode in the dot11 ssid  config part

can you please help me further i'm still new to cisco APs, and i done't have a controller, can you tell me where to put the commaned 

also i have attached screen shots to my ssid manager page if it well help.

If you are single ssid on AP then do these:

Conf ter
Dot11 ssid <SSID name>
Guest-mode

If its only a single SSID your trying to do.

On Capture 4.

 

Where it says Set Single Guest Mode SSID and the drop down box is <None> change that to your SSID

 

otherwise on capture 3. Under multiple BSSID Beacon Settings:

Tick Set SSID as Guest Mode then in capture 4 for the set beacon select Multiple BSSID.
