AIR-CT2504-5-K9 Expansion

Hello,

I would like advised over this matter.

I have a WC 2504 with 3 AIR-LAP1141N-A-K9 APs. The network clients have increased by 90 wireless devices, and we are experiencing a noticeable drop in speed a peak time when all devices are connected. We are planing to add another AP. So far, we are using a Dual VPN Router to share internet network load at 100mbps/25mbps and 15mbps/5mbps.

Do we have to use the same AP model (in this case AIR-LAP1141) or can we use another AP model to balance the network load?.

Hi Rudy,

You do not want to go with same AP model.

I prefer you go ahead with a dual band (1600/2600/3600) AP model rather single band like you have at the moment.
