Hello to all,

I am doing an new wireless lan deployment.

i configured all the switchces and WLAN controller as per document.

When I tried to connect the AP to associate with the WLC, I am getting the error below.

Ping communication between the AP and the WLC is fine.

I am getting the error below from the AP:

*Apr 21 14:15:20.039: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: Discovery response from MWAR 'PRJ-WLC01'running version 7.0.220.0 is rejected.

*Apr 21 14:15:20.039: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: Failed to decode discovery response.

*Apr 21 14:15:20.039: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: CAPWAP SM handler: Failed to process message type 2 state 2.

*Apr 21 14:15:20.039: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: Failed to handle capwap control message from controller

*Apr 21 14:15:20.039: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: Failed to process unencrypted capwap packet from 192.168.200.10

Apr 21 14:15:20.039: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: Discovery response from MWAR 'PRJ-WLC01'running version 7.0.220.0 is rejected.

1.  Upgrade the firmware of your WLC to 7.1.91.0.

2.  Make sure the time and date of the WLC is correct or synchronized to a valid time source.
