Hi,

One of my wireless router decided to stop working, and I dont have any clue to fix this. We have nearly 97 routers in our company and it is controlled by cisco WLC. This particular router is not connecting to WLC. How do i check the config? and any idea how would I get this up and running?

Please help.

Regards,

What is not working?  The router or the AP?

Can you be more specific?  Is the appliance operational or dead?

If it's dead, then contact Cisco TAC and get it replaced.

HI,

Thanks for your reply. AP was not working. It is blinking green and not connecting with WLC

Thanks,

Post the following command outputs:

1.  AP:  sh inventory;

2.  AP:  sh version;

3.  WLC:  sh sysinfo

Also console into the AP and post the output. If you look closely at the output when you reboot the AP, it will tell you why it's not joining. If it has been up for a while and suddenly stopped, maybe the swithport vlan changed and the ap couldn't get an IP address. Again, you will see all this in the console output.
