AIR-LAP1142N-A-K9 Lightweight to Standalone AP Mode

Helllo!

I work for a small IT firm, and we currently do not have any service agreement with Cisco. We have about a dozen of these LAP1142 access points on a network that no longer has its wifi controller, so I have been searching for ways to revert the AP's to their standalone mode. Unfortunately, I have not been able to reset the AP's and acquire an IP address, let alone connect to them over a TFTP server running on my machine.

Is there any software that I'm missing that can autoconfigure these access points on my network, and revert them from lightweight to standalone mode? I would appreciate any and all links to relevant downloads that are available to the general public.

Thanks!

-Travis

Check out these blogs about converting to autonomous.

You will need to have the autonomous image though which probably requires a licence/ support agreement still to obtain legally
