Aironet 1100's and bridging

Hi all,

I have a large office network with many rooms. I have an 837 cisco adsl router with an aironet 1100 attached to it by a cat 5 cable. PC's in the local vicinity with wireless network cards can pick up the network great and surf the web etc. PCs in the far rooms of the office, however, can't pick up the signal or do and drop out again, so I guess I need to boost the signal?

Is this just a case of putting another aironet 1100 in one of the far rooms and configuring it with a different ip to the first 1100 but with all other settings the same or are there special settings I need to do to allow bridging or the likes?

cheers very much in advance!!!

Rob

If all you have is simple wep encryption, then different IP on bvi 1, different channel (try 1 for the 1st AP, and 6 for the 2nd, 11 for any 3rd) will get you going - make sure the ssid's are the identical
