Aironet 1142: unable to connect to HTTP

Hello,

I try to configure an Aironet 1142 but I have some problems.

The AP gets an IP address from dhcp, but then can not connect to HTTP. The hyperterminal connection is functional, I enter EXEC mode but the CONFIGURE command does not exist.

I tried to connect to the AP with Cisco Configuration Assistant, but also not...

I encounter the same problems with my 8 new AP.

Could someone please help me?

take a look at the model number. Do you Han an AP1142, or do you have a LAP1142? If you have the LAP, you'll want to convert it to IOS.

if you do not have a WLC, then yes you need to convert it to IOS
