I'm planning to implement 5 Aironet 1602 access points with 20% signal overlap and manage them with a 2504 WLC w/5 AP license. My question is will this setup offer secure, seamless roaming for the clients as they move between the APs?
Thanks.

20% overlap has nothing to do with "secure". It's all have to do with roaming.

Right, roaming is what I am asking about. If that setup has roaming capability.
On a side note, would it handle roaming with wpa2 psk or is radius required for roaming?

Roaming works with any of the layer 2 encryption methods.

Thanks for the help Scott. I do have to have the controller though for roaming support; correct? I can't use 5 stand-alone APs?

Hold on... Stand alone access point are different from lightweight access points that require a WLC. Having a WLC and all AP's joined to that WLC, you can have seamless roaming. If you have a mix, then you will not have seamless roaming. If they are standalone access point (autonomous) then you will have to convert them to lightweight.
