aironet 2800 power on 2960

hello,

when i plug my ap 2800 on my 2960X-FPS-L, i see only 15.4Watts on the 'sho power inline' and on my WLC, how ever, i know that hose AP needs more power, how can i enable the full power(POE+ or 802.3at) on my switch?

there is no way to have the 30W available?

If the Switch has enough power, unde interface configuration you can choose:

power inline {auto [max max-wattage] | never | static [max max-wattage]}

Try with auto, CDP must negotiate the correct power

Post the complete output to the command "sh power inline".

Make sure CDP enable is set on the switchport and make sure you don't have "no cdp advertise-v2" on the VLAN for the AP.
