Aironet 350 PCI and freeBSD in AP mode?

Hi,

I was trying to get this card to work with freeBSD and talk to my other 802.11b cards (mostly orinoco)

Anyways, I couldn't get it to work in infrastructure mode (BSS/AP mode?). If I took infrastructure mode off (peer to peer/ad hoc?) I could ping both ways, but the latency went from 4ms to 50 to 80 to 4... all over the place. Any suggestions? I want it to work in AP mode but couldn't even ping or find it.
