I'm looking into setting up a wireless LAN in a medical clinic. Can CAT scan and MRI equipment interfere with the wireless LAN?

It depends on where you would be placing the wireless equipment. Yes those devices could cause interference when turned on. The further away you are from those machines the less interference you would run into.

Cat scan room is lead lined and right next to two of the exam rooms which would have wireless connections. The entire wireless lan would probably be less than 40' in diameter and all on the same side of the Cat scan room. We would not have to connect to any device on the other side of the CAT scan room.
