Aironet repeating an Aironet - "Assertion failure ssid_ptr->driver_private"

I have a single Aironet 3702i that has 2 SSIDs configured on it. I am trying to configure a second Aironet 3702i as a repeater.

When the 2nd repeater tries to associate, it fails, showing the following:

*Aug 6 11:12:38.303: %DOT11-4-CANT_ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio1, cannot associate: No Response
*Aug 6 11:12:40.319: %DOT11-4-CANT_ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio1, cannot associate: Rcvd response from 84b2.6133.b920 channel 161 693
*Aug 6 11:12:48.379: %DOT11-4-CANT_ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio1, cannot associate: Authenticating$: Interface Dot11Radio1, cannot associate: No Response
*Aug 6 11:12:38.303: %DOT11-4-CANT_ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio1, cannot associa^te: No Response

When I run "show log" on the Main AP, it shows the following over and over:

Aug 13 23:37:00.829: %DOT11-6-ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0, Station 74de.2b8f.993d Associated KEY_MGMT[WPAv2 PSK]

What is happening here? Looks like the main AP is crashing in some way....

check the post and conifgure accordingly...

https://rscciew.wordpress.com/2014/10/25/autonomous-ap-as-repeater-with-wpa2/

If still fails then paste the complete config of both APs.

did you also configure the first AP as "root" or are just connecting to the same WLAN as a "normal client"?

I receive almost the exact message with two 1572EAC APs.
