How many APs are currently attached to your WLC?

Only 26...

Console into the AP and use this command "capwap ap controller IP address ".

Hi,

I already tried that and got the exact same log messages.

David

Try " clear capwap private-config" on ur ap and see if that help

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App

Ok I could do it !

I tried to attach the AP's to another WLC and it worked. So I checked the configuration of my initial WLC and I could see that there were AP Policies configured... Gosh, that was so dump !

Many thanks for your help guys !

David

Hi David,

I faced exatly the same issue in a 1142 pool after upgrading the wlc to 7.4.110.  Only a part of the pool had the issue, and I also could also not register on other wlcs with the same release.

It looks like an ap hw. release issue, as I have no ap policies and  all aps are configured exactly the same.

I had to downgrade to 7.2 or 7.3 to be able to register agan this aps.

The new maintenance release 7.4.121 does not mention any 1142 caveats, so I expect that it is not resolved.

What's you experience since you have posted the thread ?

Thank you,

Jacky

Hi Jacky,

Do you have any update on this issue?

thanks

Hi David,

I am having the same issue on 2602i and 3502i AP`s. What you mean by AP Policies?

thanks

Hi Rasik,

On version 7.5.102.0, I cannot run a CLEAR COMMAND on the AP. I configured telnet and credentials on the AP in order to check access it and check the log. See next:
