AP 1200 Antenna

From Network Interface>Radio-802.11B>Settings, we see Receive Antenna and Transmit Antenna. The options are Diversity, Left and Right. Does that mean I can configure the AP to use left for receiving and right for transmitting and vice versa?

And what does diversity mean ?

Diversity means that the AP/bridge uses the primary/right antenna for both transmitting and receiving. If the signal strength is not good on the primary/right antenna, the AP/bridge switches to the left antenna for both transmitting and receiving.

Left antenna means that only the left antenna is used for transmittimg and receiving.

Right antenna means that only the right antenna is used for transmitting and receiving.
