Hello Team,

On Cisco Prime Infra we can see XOR type in Radio Type , What will be the purpose of that and how we can compare with other radio types. Secondly if I want to change their Radio Type of WLC , the below mentioned menu is blacked out. Can anyone explain about it. With Regads

XOR radio means it can be software configurable to work either in 2.4 or 5 Ghz band. I haven't worked on AireOS WLC for some time now, but as I remember you need to set the radio tole assignment to manual, before changing the antenna band.

There are lot of pre-requisites required to get it working properly in a production environment, proper site survey is mandatory before you convert them to 5GHz. Make sure that you read the documents shared by @Rich R and do extensive planning and testing before converting them to 5GHz.
