AP1200 IOS and SSID broadcast

Is SSID broadcast turned off by default on AP1200 IOS. If not how can I turn it off. On the AP1200 VX there is a place you can turn this off but where is it in the IOS version?

Yes, the factory default setting for Ap1200 blocks SSID broadcast by defaut.

In IOS, on hte left hand side, click on "EXPRESS SET-UP" and below the SSID windows is the "Broadcast in beacon"setting.

If you are running IOS 12.2(13)JA2

located in the bottom of the page under

"Global Radio0-802.11B SSID Properties"

Set Guest Mode SSID:

The SSID you selected will be the one that will be broadcasted as the guest SSID. It is off by default. There is really no reason to broadcast the SSID unless you need it for non-secured access. All other SSID are not broadcasted.
