Does anyone have experience with adding DNS zones to the DNS service on the BBSM? Is this supported by TAC and the support contract? Is there some other way to get to inside servers when the BBSM is forwarding to an outside DNS server?
I dont think DNS zones is supported on the Cisco BBSM. DNS forwarding can be enabled and is supported. DNS forwarding allows DNS requests to be relayed to a remote DNS server. For more information on this have a look at the following URL.
