I would like to know the behavior of licenses in a WLC architecture HA.
I have read that if the Active fails, APs and licensing are transferred for 90 days.
Could someone give me more information?
Regards.

The purpose for the HA is to provide redundancy for a licensed controller. Yes, you will start seeing errors if your primary fails or you take that offline and have access points on the HA pair. I have tested this and right before 90 day's, well... my test controller I was no longer able to login and had to factory default it. Has this changed, I don't know, but I will not place access point on the HA for a long period of time. I have customers whom want to buy the HA because it is cheaper and want to load balance access points. I would set the expectation that the HA is only for failover purposes and if you want to have access points on that controller to load balance your wireless environment, then you need to purchase a controller with licenses.
