Hi guys, I’ve got this AP given from a friend and I’d like to configure it into my house, but it’s got no firmware. I looked up info on internet and, in order to configure it in standalone, I have to flash on it the EWC which I already downloaded, but I don’t know how to flash it from uboot, because the guides on internet are only from the cli, so basically to convert from capwap to ewc. This is what I see when I boot it:

Call Cisco TAC. Provide them the serial number of the AP and request for an RMA.
9120AX has Cisco Limited Lifetime Hardware Warranty that comes with every purchase.

You cannot load CAPWAP or EWC software from u-boot.
However It is possible to re-flash the AP from u-boot following the process detailed at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9120axi-access-point/217537-repairing-c9120-c9115-access-points-from.html as long as the hardware is not faulty. But if Leo's answer is Greek to you then it might be best for you to just RMA (replace) the AP as advised by Leo because this is going to be even more like Greek <smile>

Thank you for the reply. Actually, it seems pretty simple, as It’s not so different than the guide for converting it to EWC. I’ll try to follow the guide first, if I fail I’ll send it to RMA. Thanks a lot
