Can the 10g fiber ports be used at the same time as the 2.5G ports?

@choclateer

If you want to use the ports independently, I believe  you can

4x 2.5G/1G and 2x 10G copper ports

Ports used for sending and receiving traffic between access points and controller, northbound traffic, in-band management traffic, and wireless client traffic. Must be connected to the switch.

4x 2.5G/1G copper and 2x 10G SFP+ fiber ports

Ports used for sending and receiving traffic between access points and controller, northbound traffic, in-band management traffic, and wireless client traffic. Must be connected to the switch.

If you want to bound them in channel, you can not

"The Cisco Catalyst 9800-80 Wireless Controller has eight ports, while the Cisco Catalyst 9800-40 and Cisco Catalyst 9800-L wireless controllers have four ports each. You can create multi-LAGs of ports with similar capabilities, for example, 2.5 G and 2.5 G, or 10 G and 10 G. You cannot have a 2.5 G and a 10 G port in a port channel group with a minimum of two ports in one LAG."

I will check but you can use 2.5G as Interface for WMI which is use by AP to send traffic to wlc

Use fiber for wlan vlan connect to core SW.

I will take look and update you
