Hi all, can somebody tell me if 1522 can be configured to do ethernet bridging and service wireless client in the same time? My customer has a mesh network comprised of 1522, previously the MAP only service wireless client, not ethernet connection, everything is ok. Now they want the MAP to use its ethernet port to connect to a ethernet switch(where some PCs are connected to) and want this MAP can do ethernet bridging and service wireless cient in the same time. From Cisco's WLC configuration guide of v7.0, it seems if 1522 is configured as ethernet bridging, it can't service wireless client(page 594, it says that "Figure 9-5 shows a simple point-to-multipoint deployment with one RAP and two MAPs. This configuration is fundamentally a wireless mesh network with no wireless LAN clients."), however I'm not quite sure.
Thanks for any input!
