AP1131 only support highest 54Mbps speed rate , from my test , AP can only go to 20Mbps speed on one direction , merge channel bandwidth may be the way to use all raise the speed rate.
i only know Aruba and huawei can do this at least, with AC mode.

Of course it can. It's called 802.11n channel bonding.
However, the AP you're using is an 1130 with a single radio: 802.11b
Cisco does NOT support channel bonding of the 802.11b radio.

so , what AP type i should replace AP 1131 with ?

Channel bonding is supported on APs with 802.11a radios. So the replacement of the 1131 are the 1852s, 2802 and 3802.

i recheck the ap1131 material , it said it supprt 802.11a .
are you sure that ap1131 support 802.11b only ?

Sorry, I got confused with a different model.
So yes, 1131 can support 802.11a channel bonding to 40 Mhz channel width.

well , i purchase a NME-AIRWLC6-K9 for my C3825, do you have any example of configuring channel bonding ?

What is going on with me ...
1131 is an AP that supports only 802.11 a/b/g. It won't support 802.11n.
07-26-2017 07:10 PM
oh , thks. so the requirement is 802.11a radio and 802.11n protocol ?
07-26-2017 07:53 PM
The first APs to support 802.11n was the 1142 and 1252. 1131 is the old version of the 1142.
07-27-2017 05:50 AM
1142 , are you sure ? if you are , it is not a big cost in the second hand market .
