I have a Cisco 4400 wlc that I have been trying to configure but haven be able to access the gui. I have the left the service port with the default ip after I configured it initially configured it through the gui. After wards trying to access the gui through the management interface won't work I have the ip for the management and ap manager interface on the same subnet with everything in the same vlan in the switch. I have tried pinging both interfaces with no success. The default gateway is the same for both as and I have another router that acts as the DHCP server for my network. I have configured the WLC via the gui through the service port but can't access after saving and rebooting, the same for the cli. Through the cli I have tried to make new http/https certificates which were successful but I was still unable to access gui. Sorry for such a long post just wanted to provide enough detail, Thanks.

So you can access the controller from the Service Port only.
So what I'd like to know is how is the switch port configured? Is the switch port configured as a 802.1Q trunk? How about the VLAN for the Management Port, is it allowed?

After I had finished the initial setup I couldn't access the gui from the service port either.I do not have anything configured on the switch no 802.1q trunk, everything is in vlan 1. And the vlan identifier on the wlc is set to 0 for the management port and ap management port.
