Does anyone know if there are any plans to offer a 3.5 ghz CBRS expansion module for the Aironet AC wifi radios with expansion slots, such as the 3800 series?
It often seems like these high-end radios and their expansion slots are waved around as a reason to blow extra money on them "to be prepared for bleeding edge new tech that didn't even exist when the product was sold", but how often do actual expansion modules become available, to really do anything with the expansion capability?
It is likely just a vague hope to see anything offered for 3.5 ghz CBRS expansion for these "older" radios, vs instead Cisco holding it back and instead rolling it out as part of an entire new radio product to replace the current top-o-the-line Wifi 6 series.
