Changing WiFi Password Via Aironet 1600 Series Access Point

Hi all,

I'm doing some IT work for a business and their WiFi network consists of 5 Aironet 1600 WAP's with no controller. I am required to change the wifi passwords for one of the SSID's on these. How would I go about doing this?

Do I just connect to each individual WAP and change the Pre-Access Shared Key?

Many Thanks,

Oliver

Yes, you need to login to each AP and change the pre-shared key configured under SSID configuration.

From end devices, you may need to forget that SSID and connect it fresh (in case previous password is cached within the device)
