Hi

I have a cisco 1240 Access point and I configured it as Access point, and also I have TP-Link TL-WA5110G High Power, and I configure it as  repeater from Cisco. After configured the both access points, the TPlink successfully connected to Csico as repeater and took the SSID and channel, but the it did not pass the IPā€™s or internet. Why?? Please help me.

LOL. So your TPlink access point is not working as it should ? Maybe you should contact TP-Link :-)

The repeater feature is not a 802.11 standard so normally only Cisco APs can be repeater of Cisco APs. Whatever TP-link does is their problem.

LOL he is totally right, however dont forget that Cisco Aironet is different as Linksys by Cisco...repeater compatibility is not expected eve between them...

And even using Cisco Aironet, there are some best practice like, use same IOS, if possible same hardware etc...
