Cisco 1310 bridge - downgrade from LWAPP to autonomous.

According to the documentation:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/conversion/lwapp/upgrade/guide/lwapnote.html#wp160918

My Cisco 1310 bridge is only able to be converted back from LWAPP to autonomous mode through a Wireless LAN Controller.  My problem is that my company has downsized and has liquidated quite a bit of infrastructure, including our Wireless LAN Controller.  I am being asked to redeploy this Aironet 1310 as a bridge/AP but I am unable to configure it without the WLC nor am I able to downgrade it to autnonomous.

Is this a brick for me now?  Do I just toss this perfectly good hardware?

Thank you for any help offered.

Log into the AP, get into enable mode.

Then issue the command "debug lwapp console cli"

You should be able to use the archive command then.

Another option is to log into the bridge via the console port and just use the archive command to pull an autonomous image to it.

That was my initial response also.  The Archive command is not available in the Lightweight CLI.  You can't even get into Global mode.

Log into the AP, get into enable mode.

Then issue the command "debug lwapp console cli"

You should be able to use the archive command then.
