Cisco 1550 Mesh AP's and 3502's in Enterprise Mesh Mode Compatible?

Guys,

Am looking to do a very large mesh deployment and need to know if the 1550's AP and the 3502's in Enterprise Mesh mode are compatible with each other.

What i mean by this is, can i mix and match my deployment where i need to between the 1552 and 3502 Mesh AP's. (3502's will be in enclosures)

From what i know from early mesh project that i have done with the 1510's the code was different to that of the normal LWAPP AP's.

Has this changed now and do all (New) AP's run roughtly the same code?

Thanks

I don't think the 3502's are supported for indoor mesh. I only see 1130 and 1240 that are supported.

Scott, ive tried it with the 3502's as they work fine...

Just dont think that they have updated their documentation ;-)

During the old mesh days when they had 'special code' then I would be suspect. However, if the 1550 and the 3500s are conecting to the same WLC and same code I dont think there will be any issues, although I havent tested it.

As for the 3500s, they do MESH mode.

Okay... I couldn't get a 1140 or 1252 to connect.
