Cisco 1562 access point: NEMA enclosure required?

Hi all,

Is it required for an Cisco outdoor 1562i or e model to have a NEMA enclosure installed as well?

The data sheet mentions humidity are levels 0 - 95% , non-condensing. So I'm guessing that they're required?

Thanks.

Make sure the grounding lugs are installed and the APs are earthed properly.

We have about 200 of them out in the rain and >40C heat (Australia) without any issues.

Depends on the environment where the APs are going to be installed but I have never used an enclosure for the 1562.

Thanks for the response. We're looking at installing some of that model but they may get exposed to rain. I'm looking at the AP data sheet, but I couldn't find any information about being exposed to storms.
