We are using a Cisco 1572 in Standalone mode as a survey AP, our usual battery packs wont power it up as they are 803.11af only. We purchased a car power station they type that will start your car and power coolers as our customer had a contact who said they would work!!
Needless to say it powers up the AP then crashes within a minute, we now know they do not produce enough power to sustain the AP. my question is what are other people using to power a survey AP of 802.11at requirements?
Our customer still informs us there are lots of battery packs out there that will do the trick, but we can't find one so any pointers would be appreciated?
