Cisco 5500 Series AP's not connecting

Hello all. I have a Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controller Model: 5508 Software Version: 7.3.112.0.

I recently rebooted the controller and discovered all Cisco APs have disappeared from the controller.

Having looked into this issue it appears I have been victim of this: https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless-mobility-documents/lightweight-ap-fail-to-create-capwap-lwapp-connection-due-to/ta-p/3155111

Support for the controller has ended and Cisco are unable to provide with any assistance.

Would I be correct in saying that I need to update the firmware on the wireless controller to resolve this issue and re-establish the wireless APs?

If this is the case, i would really appreciate if anyone has a Cisco support login and would be able to download the files I need?

Many Thanks

Are you asking people to break the copywrite law?

Its not my intention to ask anyone to break any laws. I am only asking on here because a Cisco employee from the support team advised me this forum would be my best chance of getting hold of the upgrade files.

The Cisco employee's message may have been misunderstood.

Only users with valid Service Contract can download firmware.

Another option is to read this very carefully:  Cisco IOS XE Software for Catalyst 9800 Series and Cisco AireOS Software for Cisco WLC Flexible NetFlow Version 9 Denial of Service Vulnerability

Scroll down to the "Customers Without Service Contracts" section -- Read it and understand what is required.

IMPORTANT

It is not possible to go from 7.X.X.X to 8.5.X.X without going through an intermediate version 8.2.16.X.X.  So when talking to TAC, ask them to publish both versions.

 - It can sometimes help telling Cisco that you are suffering from a security vulnerability as in :

                  https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvg89442

I can make them more relaxed to 'offer' a fixed release (as a workaround for what you need).
