Cisco 5508 Firmware 7.1.91.0 update - Windows 8 MFP Bug

Hi,

I recently upgraded to firmware version 7.1.91.0 on my 5508 controllers to allow support for 3600 WAPs and WCS. We have recently run into bug CSCua29504 which prevents Windows 8 devices from joining my wireless network due to a Management Frame Protection issue.

Firmware updates have been released for 7.0,7.2,7.3 and 7.4 trains to resolve the fault, however there hasn't been a release for 7.1. Does anyone know if there is going to be an update for the 7.1 firmware to address bug ID CSCua29504?

Upgrade your firmware to 7.4.100.X.  Don't even bother wallowing in 7.1.X.

Just to add to leo's post....

The v7.1 was an interim code and is no longer available in CCO. This means the will not be any releases in the future for v7.1.
