Hi all,
We just recently moved from using the Cisco ACS for our authentication server, to a Windows NPS server. Ever since the move our cisco 7925 wireless phone is not able to associate to call manager anymore.
We have verified the password for the phone authentication but still no dice. The firmware on the wireless phone is CP7925G-1.4.1 and our call manager version is 8.5.1.
Are there any known issues between this model of wireless IP phone and using NPS?
Please let me know if you do.
Thank you.
Rgds,
Vicky

Probably check NPS logs to see what's the reason for client authentication failure.
Also you can run "debug client <7925 mac addresss> " on your WLC to see what's happening with client. Pls attach that output to see.

The firmware on the wireless phone is CP7925G-1.4.1 and our call manager version is 8.5.1.
Due to stability issues and improved roaming features, I would recommend using 1.4(3) as a minimum firmware. 1.4(6) is also very stable.
Test by using OPEN authentication and see if your phones join the SSID. Then crank up the security and encryption until you break them.
