Cisco 9115AX static ip

Hai new Cisco 9115AX AP came with controller mode and I needed to join a controller, no DHCP available on the network, how to enter static IP on AP, i tried to enter like old 1800 AP but the ping and connectivity not working.

converted AP using wireless ewc-ap ap shell 

message displayed is Waiting for preferred uplink IP configuration

capwap ap ip address <ip> <mask> and capwap ap ip default-gateway <ip>.

Since you don't have an DHCP to point the AP towards the controller, you would also need this:

capwap ap controller ip address <ip>

I tried this still it does not show up and the same message appears waiting for the preferred uplink IP configuration.Not show any ip

I used wireless ewc-ap ap shell command to rech to shell and used ap-type local

First you need to convert controller mode to CAPWAP then configure IP address :

I used these commands to convert wireless ewc-ap ap shell    ap-type capwap

if I enter ap-type capwap ,ap is already capwap message is getting

if the CAPWAP already, then reload the AP and configure the IP as suggested

sitll issue - connect the console - post complete boot logs and the errors you getting to understand more.
