The ap should be able to power up with that switch unless there is an issue with the ap or that switch. If you have enough power available on the switch, then I would say it’s an issue with the ap.

HI Scott,

thanks for reply, enough power is there. just with single AP 1852i does not working on POE. with Power Adaptor it does work.

Tried with 3560 and 3650 poe as well no luck.

I don’t know then. You have CDP enabled and the port able to power up another AP?

Hi Scott,

yes cdp is enable. port come up with same cable or different Ethernet cable to any other ap but only this AP 1852i brand new poe does not pick up

Seems like the AP is bad. Open a TAC case and get an RMA.

Do the following on the switch:
1. Command: test cable tdr interface <PORT>;
2. Wait for about 5 to 7 seconds for the process to complete;
3. Command: show cable tdr interface <PORT>;
4. Post the complete output to #3.

here you go Leo

I know what this is ...
Either Raise a TAC Case or upgrade the firmware of the switch. This could be CSCuz08086 or CSCvd46008.

HI Leo,

tried that with no luck. Looks like AP not responding at all to POE

MOSFET PoE Bug is fixed in the latest (2019 releases) 3.6.X and 3.7.X firmware.
If not, as what Scott says, RMA the AP.
