Hi,

Does the currently support point-to-point and point-to-multipoint for bridging between LANs in buildings?

See attached screen shot capture of the Cisco 1560 Datasheet section 'Features and Benefits'.

P2P and Point to multi point was done with autonomous software. Controller based images has mesh but it might not be what you need it for.  If you are linking two or more buildings, then get a true outdoor bridge.  Cisco resells Exalt and there are others like Bridgewave, Ubiquity, Proxium to name a few.

Hi,

1. Refer to page 30 of the attached 'Cisco Aironet 1560 Series Outdoor Access Point Hardware Installation Guide' - ('Point-to-Point Bridging' and 'Point-to-Multipoint Bridging'). The this type of bridging work with MESH software?

2. What is LOCAL MODE software?
