The first thing I noticed is the "Waiting for uplink IPv4 configuration" log. Has the switch port that this AP is connected to been modified recently? Can you verify the configuration of that port and ensure it is correctly configured? Is this the only AP acting this way in your network?

@Tyson Joachims thanks for your replay,

Can you verify the configuration of that port and ensure it is correctly configured?

here the settings

nothing has been changed

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1
switchport trunk native vlan 39
switchport mode trunk

Is this the only AP acting this way in your network?
i have 3 Access points, one of them working normally and the strange here there are another two that has the same problem on the same switch, I have changed them to other switch but the same problem.

Can you swap this "broken" AP with an AP that is working? If the "broken" AP begins to work and the working AP stops working, we know the issue is likely on the switch or upstream from the switch. If the issue persists on the same AP and the working AP continues to work, we may need to look closer at the "broken" AP.

@Tyson Joachims I have changed the broken one with the working one, and it is the same issue, i did not try the working on the switch.

the problem also, that i can't access the AP, just i am viewing the console.

i think the problem coming from the AP?! do you think that?

  1. What mode is the AP operating on?  CAPWAP or Mobility Express?
  2. What firmware is the AP running on?

@Leo Laohoo thanks for your reply,

i would like to mention that, the AP not allow me to edit or add, it's just showing the above message and not changed, after some time it restarts and do the same sequence.

  1. What mode is the AP operating on?  CAPWAP or Mobility Express?
    1. the old configuration it is working as CAPWAP
    2. What mode is the AP operating on?  would you please expalin!
  2. What firmware is the AP running on?
    1. Cisco Mobility Express- 8.10.142.0

Now you mentioned that the LED on the AP is "flush" red. Is it blinking red or solid? If it's solid, this is a boot loader issue which might explain why we aren't able to do anything in the console besides read the logs.

If you unplug the power, reapply power, and watch the logs, do you see any lines that say "Image signing verification failure, not allowed to run..."? It would be super helpful if you could capture the entire startup and post that here (probably in a text file as an attachment since it will be long).

Some things you could try:

1. Reset the AP to factory defaults. Hold the mode button for less than 20 seconds. If you hold for more than 20 seconds but less than 60 seconds, you will delete all files on the internal flash (see option 2 if you deleted the flash).

2. Format the flash and upload a fresh AP image: https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless-mobility-documents/access-point-rommon-recovery-ap-prompt-recovery-example/ta-p/3119495

I agree.... you need to post the full output from when the ap boots up.
