We recently bought a Cisco Aironet 2802E and I was wondering if there is a way to convert this access point into a Standalone (Autonomous) access point.

Currently, the image is mobility express and I can't seem to find any instructions to go from mobility express to autonomous.

Product# AIR-AP2802E-B-K9C (Configurable)

Mobility Express is effectively autonomous.  The access point can run standalone.

After doing some more research. I've found your response to be true. Thank you!

Hello Philip, how is possible? The ME to me is a controller. I understand that I'll need another AP to connect to the ME and work after that. I've a 2802E with the latest ME image installed and the Controller prompt.

Thanks
