Cisco AP 1100 serie

Hello

I have bought a used Cisco AP 1100, with console port.

I have downloaded putty to program in, but when i enter ENABLE, it ask for at password, witch i can´t type, have tried both with letters and numbers, i just can´t type anything in the command.

I think you have picked a too old AP to work with.

If you buy an Cisco AP for home use, make sure it comes with Autonomous IOS (k9w7), otherwise you need a wireless lan controller to manage it or convert it to autonomous. without cisco support, you cannot download these required image for conversion describe in below.

Cisco 3502, 3602 are some models you may be able to find out for reasonable pricing.

The settings for the console port is incorrect.
