This AP keeps rebooting every 13.5 minutes...

Cisco IOS Software, AP802 Software (AP802-K9W7-M), Version 12.4(25d)JAX1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc4)

!

MY-AP01 uptime is 4 minutes

System returned to ROM by power loss

System image file is "flash:/ap802-k9w7-mx.124-25d.JAX1/ap802-k9w7-mx.124-25d.JAX1"

!

The

C881W-A-K9 router (c800-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M3.bin) seems to be unaffected. Here is part of the log from the Router...

System image file is "flash:/ap802-k9w7-mx.124-25d.JAX1/ap802-k9w7-mx.124-25d.JAX1"

Change the code on the AP to something more stable. Mine is currently running "ap801-k9w7-mx.124-21a.JY" without incident.

Thank you.

My device is no longer having this issue.

The fix was changing the wlan-ap0 interface IP address to the following...

!

interface wlan-ap0

description Service module interface to manage the embedded AP

ip unnumbered Vlan1

!

interface Vlan1

description $ETH-SW-LAUNCH$$INTF-INFO-HWIC 4ESW$

ip address 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0

!

This interface had a static IP, but after changing to ip unnumbered, the problem stopped.

Let me know if this works for you.

Hello! I had the same problem. My Access Point AP802 dropped connection every 14 minutes with the following messages in log file:

008607: Jun 27 10:21:01.024: %SECONDCORE-5-BOOTSTAGE: ROMMON on 2nd core UP
008608: Jun 27 10:21:01.040: %SECONDCORE-5-BOOTSTAGE: AP-BOOTLOADER on 2nd core UP
008609: Jun 27 10:21:41.827: %SECONDCORE-5-BOOTSTAGE: AP-IOS on 2nd core UP
008610: Jun 27 10:23:38.610: %SECONDCORE-5-BOOTSTAGE: AP-IOS on 2nd core SAFE FOR RESET

When I tried to configure next commands, problem stopped:

interface wlan-ap0

description Service module interface to manage the embedded AP

ip unnumbered Vlan1

!

interface Vlan1

description $ETH-SW-LAUNCH$$INTF-INFO-HWIC 4ESW$

ip address 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0

Thanks, kmartin!
