Cisco Catalyst 9124AX - Interfaces

Hello,

On the below C9124AX Datasheet, I see that the Catalyst 9124AX has a downlink and uplink interface.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/catalyst-9100ax-access-points/nb-06-cat9124-ser-ap-ds-cte-en.html

Catalyst 9124AXI, 9124AXD

●  1x 100/1000/2500 BASE-T (Ethernet) uplink interface
●  1x Gigabit Ethernet SFP

●  1x 10/100/1000 BASE-T (Ethernet) downlink interface

What exactly is the purpose of the 1G downlink?

Can it be used for another endpoint?

or is it required to use both uplink and downlink interfaces to take full advantage of this model's WiFi 6?

Thank you,
WG

 - Only for connecting another endpoint (not related to wifi 6 performance)

The port is used for daisy-chain to another device (with PoE out)
