Any X800 series AP's (2802e) is supported in all the software codes released up to now for Catalyst 9800 WLC's. Unfortunately any X600 series AP's (2602e) are not supported in 9800 WLC's. 2602e is well beyond its EOL, I would suggest you to replace it with new Catalyst series AP's.
Make sure that you don't mix different AP models in one roaming domain if you are planning to migrate.
Don't think so , only support is being mentioned for AireOS-releases.
