Cisco Mobility Express with Guest Management and msn.com

Hi everyone

We have set up Cisco ISE Guest management in the lab. We are using Cisco ISE v3.1 and Mobility Express for WiFi.
Guest processes are completed successfully. Then msn.com opens on a new page!

This problem is not relevant to ISE or EndUser. At Mobility Express, we are observing. If EndUser connect to the Guest WiFi over Mobility Express, the default web page is opening this link automatically. If EndUser connect to the Guest WiFi over C9800-CL, everything is fine. Actually, this problem is on Mobility. But I couldn't find where is this?

This happens even when we set a different page.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Regards.

Sorry @huseyin not really enough information to answer your question directly ...

Are you using the exact same setup on both ME & 9800-CL?
Note ME can only use flex local switching with APs in flex mode.
This sounds like a simple configuration issue.

Have you reviewed these documents/videos?

This video explains how to configure central web authentication using Cisco Wireless Controller or Cisco WLC and a Cisco ISE using a FlexConnect Access Point.

Hi Rich,

We have a Lab ınvermient. We are doing a lesson. The lesson is about the different WLC and ME. We are using AP 1815i with last ver IOS 8.10.196. Also We Have a WLC C9800-CL.and We have ISE v3.1 Our lab is working on Cisco c3850 24 port PoE Switch.

When we do investigation on C9800-CL actually everything fine. The ISE working correctly. You know; The Guest portal setting has forward link. When you are connection correctly you are forwarding etc. cisco.com.

But If we are using ME over 1815i AP; after correct connection; you are forwarding to msn.com. And definitely we did not any setup for this. We focused to ISE. Also, the default web page setting is NOT msn.com on Guest user laptop.

The msn.com setting is comening different way but I did not find.

Regards.

Open a web browser on a PC - turn on Developer Tools - > Network trace enabled, Preserve Log then go to http://www.neverssl.com (that should get redirected to your guest login) and then capture the entire journey in the browser trace.  You can export that to a HAR file and you can view the HAR analysis using https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/har_analyzer/  That will show you where the redirect to msn.com comes from (or could be the browser itself or a plugin).
