Cisco WCS 7.0.230.0 (Disable Alarms & Email Custom Subject line)

We running with wcs version 7.0.230.0 and i have the following questions about alarms and email notifications...

1. Is it possible to add the name of the access point in the email subject line from wcs? Custom Subject line?

2. Can i disable email notifications only for one access point? We have an access point which is connected on a powerboard, and the ap generates a lot of mails every day. I want to disable notifications for this access point.

Hi Marco,

1. Yes. It can be done from

Administration > Settings > Alarms page > under "Alarm Email options"

2. Unfortunately, no. The E-mail notifications for AP's would be a global setting.

1. yes i know the alarm email options, but there is no checkbox to activate the hostname of an access points in the email subject line?
