Hi Guys,
I have a wireless controller 2504 with maximum AP of 75. I am nearing this limit now, what options do i have to increase this?

1. Get a 2nd 2504 unit;
2. Upgrade to a 5520. Move some of the license of the 2504 to the 5520 and use the 2504 as a test unit.

Hi Leo,
Thank you for your reply. I have two of them where one is master controller. If i add one more, will the fail-over still work? And the licenses copied to the third?
I would assume third 2504 is more cost effective than getting a 5520?

Of course 2504 is cheaper than 5520 but there are so many factors why one should choose 2504 vs 5520.
The biggest thing I want to consider is how many APs do I see my APs in the next 3 years. 5520 was released in 2015 while the 2504 was released about 6 years ago.
