Cisco WLC 5508 Version 8.0.121.0

I have a very strange thing happening on one of my Wireless Lan Controllers.  I have upgraded the controller to Version 8.0.121.0, and when I monitor clients, I see that there are no IP Addresses against a clients Mac Address, I have had no reports that users cannot connect in the area covered by that controller.  I was wondering if anyone has come across this 'Feature'??

thanks

No IP Address?  Go to the middle column and look under "Auth".  Does this say "Yes" or "No".

If it says "No", then this is to be expected (no IP Address) if the wireless clients haven't authenticated.

It says Yes clients are authenticated.

Do a debug.  If clients get authenticated but not getting a valid IP address then it could be a DHCP issue.

In addition to Leo; any tunneling / anchoring going-on for these clients?

Guys

Thanks for the reply, I have sorted this by enabling ipv6 on the controller, why this mad a difference i will never know.
