Hi Everyone,

Just as the title said, as much as I googled this one I cannot seem to find it what are the CLI Commands for AP in FlexConnect

I know we can telnet/ssh to the AP in flexConnect but what are the possible commands we can execute on the AP?
Hope someone can assist

Thanks!

Hi LJ,

With FlexConnect APs they should be managed by the WLAN Controller they are associated to and therefore local commands aren't recommended besides some basic ones if necessary e.g. setting the Controller IP address for discovery and running debug commands. You do have the ability to run many of the CLI commands on there but you shouldn't.

Cheers,
Ric

Well figures
Probably the only thing you can do on that side is the basic "capwap ap" commands e.g., assigning its IP and WLC controller IP

Telnet/SSH useful only if ever we need to change the TCP/IP settings of the AP in w/c the local IT for example, has no console cable and needs to telnet/SSH to it

This may be useful if you haven't see it
