Client Roaming menu on C9800

Hi,

I cannot see Client Roaming menu on C9800 WLC. anyone here have any suggestions for this

on old AireOS WLC have this

 - Not sure what you mean by that , client roaming is autonomous and done by client itself

On old AireOS have this but on 9800 I cannot see this menu

you said " I tend to interpret it as the setting is by default for the 9800" and I'm not sure that does this parameter adjust is unavailable right? and do you have any documents for reference ?

not sure if this is what you are looking for 

Configuration > Wireless > Advanced > click the relevant band's tab: either 5 GHz Band or 2.4 GHz Band > Optimized Roaming Mode

If you are looking for client roaming protocol setting it would be under Configuration > Tags&Profiles > WLAN > advanced.

9800 runs IOS-XE not AireOS - they are different.

Some features are different, some may not exist at all, some are still being worked on (future releases).  Read the answer @ammahend provided.
The menus in 9800 will never look exactly the same as AireOS and parameters and menus may have different names.

If you want to see roaming you can always do a radiotrace on the client and review the output
